I am a new user of blackberry and currently using Bold 9700 for past few months. I had no problems updating the device software but recently I have been having problems. I'm using .656 version and want to update it to .723. It shows i have .723 in my desktop manager but after i try to update it shows there is no update for your phone. I tried App Loader, but it shows .656 would be updated. Is there any mistake from my part as I am unable to update.

If you have .656 on your PC delete it.

Delete the vendor .xml file from .723 (check to make sure there are no hidden vendor .xml files), disconnect from the Internet, and then run apploader.

I tried all that...then eventually re-installed desktop manager again ... well it worked ... Thanks for your help brotha.. Tc Admin u can delete dis thread ty
