Hi,

I have seen posts about changing 3G bands from the Engineering screen option on the BB Bold 9900 so that I can make it work with Wind or Tmobile, which uses Band 1 and 4.
I am able to get to the Engineering screen using Alt-Shift-H key combination but unable to get the " mobile network engineering screens, utilities, radio capabilities, umts band, set umts supported bands, <choose bands>" screen to change the bands as mentioned in the posts.
I am getting Radio Engineering screen instead of Mobile Engineering screen (as per the post), Is the Mobile engineering screen is hidden?
Anybody has any idea?
Is it possible to change the Band like this?
Has anybody done this?
Any help will be appreciated.

I am pretty sure you can not change bands on Escreen

Are you able to get into the option for changing the Band? Somebody posted that they could choose bands within the listed bands of the phone. Like my phone supports, 1, 2, 5 and 8 and I could choose any combination of the listed bands, but nothing new.
But I don't get that option.
