    My 9000 was running kind of slow earlier today, so I did a battery pull and poof my icon for email was gone. I noticed an error message at start up but didn't realize what it was until I went to check email. Did another battery pull and seen it again "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException". Anybody got any ideas?

    Yeah, your messages data base is corrupt and need to be zapped clean.

    Thanks, do you mean wipe it? Or can I just reload my email onto the device.

    Try going into set-up and resending service books.

    +1 on resending service books, but go to your AT&T BIS page to do it:

    https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=mycingular

    Log in, click on Help, then click on Send Service Books.
