Someone posted about this too. The PIN is not working. Also, I feel like whoever is running that account got it from someone else and running scams, if that makes sense.

Well the problem is, any device you get isnt supposed to be sold. In theory it could be considered stolen property. The PIN being blocked will kill any data from RIM to the device (carrier data would be fine).

Additionally most prerelease devices get their PINs blocked at the end of testing and release of the device, ESPECIALLY when RIM finds out it made it in to the "wild"

I just wish RIM would willingly put out early a couple of phones... with a crazy price if they want to, and that way we would get to test them and to keep them! This is nuts! I have to buy the same phone 2?!!!?!?! Thank god I haven't gotten any of my pre releases blocked, but if they do I'm gonna cry

Only depend. Batch of 9020's got out and have been listed and no work. but mostly unless reported stolen pins stay good.
