    I recently purchased a new bold 9900 in the States for use in the UK with my Vodafone SIM. Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT that no e mails are displayed anywhere. I know they are being received because the phone "pings" when I send an e mail to it from another account and I can receive e mails from the phone when I write them but they too do not appear in the messages (or individual e mail icon).

    Have you tried a battery pull ?

    Or maybe reloading / updating the OS ?

    Please have a look at the service books, does it have one called "desktop"? Or is the firewall enabled and locked?
