update 8/12/09: gave the bold to a repair store and they said there is nothing they can do. they tried replacing the lcd, but nothing works to get the phone to power up. they say its probably the motherboard. how much can i sell it for as a parts phone?
so im washing my car.
i had the bold in my pocket, still inside the holster, but in my pocket because i didnt want it to get wet. i finish the car and cant find my phone. hours later i find it under one of my car tires
yes, i drove over it. its dead, no power, nada
im on craigslist right now looking to spend no more than $300
im using my old pearl because my curve needs a new trackball
my friends dont see the big deal because i have other bberries, but i know you guys know how i feel
6 emails on craigslist offering cash in hand and no responses after an hour of waiting.
update 6/30/09: a guy in tracy, ca says we can meet up. he selling for 325 and it looks great. i get off work and hes taking forever to call me back. while waiting i got into the att store to see if i can get hooked up. cant upgrade until sept 09. but i have another line for my pc card. i had this card since 06. never needed to upgrade, cause its always been 3g. dude says i can extend the contract with the pc card line and used my upgrade to get the bold. i dont have to go from a data plan to blackberry plan. PERFECT 340 out the door brand new, insured!!!. dude in the att store was watching tv on his bold with the slingbox hook up. maybe im late, but it was sick!!
