I'm just mystified. I want to download ota 3G Bold theme by RedZapper - Bottom dock today plus w/ weather, but I can't for the life of me figure out the correct address to put into my browser. I don't know why when you click on the ota button, it asks you to download .jad file. Why don't you simply get the address?

Forgive the bold, it's nothing more than the bold button not shutting off.

Are you clicking the ota link from you BB browser or your desktop? Ota is to dl directly to your BB, not to upload from your computer.

I need the correct address. Post address is not correct, he or she has the word hemes in there, I don't know which part to use and what to leave out. Would you be kind enough to simply type out the complete address to access the theme? Thanks so much for your trouble.

email this addy to yourself, then click the link on the email, should automatically open your browser and give you the option to download it. i think the work hemes you see is rz-themes.

rfalter's problem is that he's looking at the link in the post which is shortened with the ...
All you really have to do if you need the full address is move your mouse cursor over the link and the full link will show.

But I still don't understand why you couldn't just browse to this page in your BB browser and click on one of those links, the download window would pop up and you'd be good to go, no need to type that address in.

I don't do it on the BB because navigating to the correct page is a pita. I don't tend to do much browsing because no matter how good the browser, unless the site is built for phone or BB, it's tough navigating around.

However, I did follow the instructions, hovered over the download I wanted (theme with weather and QL, did a cut and paste and got it.

However, there was no weather, and when I started rearranging the icons (better themes match up what you have, they don't just throw everything back in), the center of the theme, a cloud, which I assume was the weather icon, ended up being replaced by the browser icon. There is no way to change it back other than putting the icons back as they came with the theme, which I don't want.

So, thanks for the tips on how to best get the OTA, if anyone knows how to manipulate the home page icons that can be moved (mainly the weather one), please advise and I will try it again.
