Downgrade problems
So i "upgraded" to .266 this week and i didnt like it very much. So I decided to go back to .247. I deleted .266 from my computer, backed up my data, downloaded .247, downloaded jl_cmdr, and successfully downgraded my os.
However, for some reason it took me back all the way to .167, and all of my 3rd party apps are nowhere to be found. i did a restore but only my contacts, texts, emails and such are there. no themes or 3rd party apps. any help?

Stupid question, but did you install 247 after downloading?
-
I tried! I followed the directions of the blackberry 101 lecture on how to downgrade and i used desktop manager. I thought i was loading .247 because that was the only os in my computer.
-
What I meant was did you actually double click the 247 .exe file and install it?
-
Well technically, no. But after i realized i was running .167 i tried to load .247. i deleted the vendor.xml file, but when i tried to run the loader file and it started, but then nothing happened and it just said updated "successfully".

You have to install the OS on the PC before it can be recognized and installed onto the phone.
