Ok, I've searched for this topic, but haven't seen this question yet.

When I plug my new Bold into my PC, Windows Vista does not recognize it as another drive. When I had my Curve, it would show up in Windows Explorer like another drive. I have Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected set to Yes. Is there something else I'm missing?

Have you tried just using a card reader? I'd try there, too.

Is this the only PC it does this too? Will it sink up to your DM? Did you get your bold as a refurb?

+1 try to plug it into another PC if it works then the problem is in Vista, altho i am going to say it is Vista anyways cause i hate vista. i used my moms laptop to do a backup due to the fact it was the only PC accessible at the time, i ran DM and somehow or another it completly wiped my bold clean, not even a GUI, just text. didn't even have an OS installed on the computer

Yes, it was a refurb that I just got from ATT. I haven't tried it in any other PCs yet, but I think I'll try Los's idea when I get home today. Thanks for posting the link to that thread! I don't know how I missed it...

Vista may be assigning it the same drive letter as another device. In Vista, go to Computer Management. The BlackBerry should show up there in DiskManager. Change the drive letter to B: or another unused letter.

I run Vista 64-bit have done so for over a year and my bold works like a champ on it, so if you have an issue with Vista .. then try update your drivers for USB/Mass storage drivers for vista.

I have the same issue, He recognises the Blackberry (I'm at W7) and it shows up at my devices. But I can't get to the storage card.
