    Just interested to know whether using an old BlackBerry Curve 8520 charger everyday on my 9900 will have any effect on my battery at all? Eg. Battery life, random battery drains etc. Because a few times my 9900 has just drained of battery for no apparant reason (on more than one battery). I've lost my 9900 charger.

    Nah. As long as their both Micro USB (which I assume it is since you say it fits) then you're okay.

    The curve charger has giving me slightly better battery life.

    You'll be fine... I use the chargers from my 9550, 8530, and 8330 (adapter from mini to micro).

    i use either/or, but i don't want my 8520 to get jealous so i still charge it too and use it for the timer..a jealous bb is just wrong
