Had to go with a warranty exchange on my Bold. Doing the process of transferring from old to new this afternoon. Going to use Device Switch Wizard so I don't have to reinvite all of my Messenger Contacts.

I am using OS .247. Should I upgrade the refurbed phone first, then do the device switch, or switch devices then do the OS upgrade? Or does it matter?

Also, is Device Switch Wizard the way to go?

I would not upgrade for a few days. If something is not working, I would want to be able to know it was the phone and not my upgrade.

This might also resolve that 247 issue with your e-mail notifications.

Yes, I think I am just going to lay .247 over the top of the AT&T OS, as opposed to wiping the device and then installing .247.

Do you recommend using the Device Switch Wizard?

Good idea, do a simple upgrade then use the DSW to move everything. If nothing else, you have all the backups from your recent upgrade.
