    Hi All. I just upgraded computers and downloaded BlackBerry Desktop Manager. I only have a 9780 (no other BB devices). Previously when I backed up my 9780, it was an .ipd file; now a .bbb file. Is this proper, or do I have the wrong software? Thanks

    This is normal.
    I believe the transition is for the Link, which also backs up in .bbb format.

    Nothing for you to worry about. This will apparently cause ease for you to restore (some) data from your old device to a BB10 device.
