    I have a Blackberry 9900 running OS 7.1.0.694.
    Recently, my Desktop Manager 7.1.0.32 has been freezing at the end of the sync when the program says converting Blackberry Data. When I finally go into Task Manager to close the program, I get the following message, "The system cannot end this program because it is waiting for a response from you."

    I have set the program to sync without input from me or checking with me if there are conflicts, but it keeps freezing.

    Any suggestions how to fix this? I have not updated either operating system and would like my Outlook 2010 updated

    This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

    Also, do you have a virus checked\firewall installed on your Windows machine?

    If so, as a test, turn it off for a moment, then try to sync again, see what happens...

    Nope- still hanging

    When I go into Task Manager to close it, it says that the system is waiting for a reply from me. I have gone in and said to make changes without confirmation from me. Am wondering if one of those settings is causing this. Everything was fine a few days ago, and I have not updated any programs.

    If this is a Windows Vista or Windows 7 computer, create a new profile (a new user account) to log into the computer. Once done, run Desktop Manager, and connect the BlackBerry. Try again, and see what happens...

    I wonder if it is something on your profile (Windows profile that is) causing that.

    The Outlook was not on the othe profile, so the DM could not sync

    Yeah, but you can just create a temp profile. Sorry, the I.T. guy in me, just thinking outside the box here...
