I have a blackberry bold which this morning was still on, but the battery was too low for radio use. I plugged it into my computer to charge it through a firewire cable and the screen went black, and the red LED light remained on (not blinking).
I removed the battery for about a minute and put it back in, but nothing happened. I then depressed the red power button and the red LED light went off. If I unplug it and plug it back in, the red light turns on. Its been charging for about an hour and there is still no sign of life except for the LED light even when I press the red button. The light also turns off after about 10 seconds.
