Hey y'all,

I posted a thread earlier regarding this issue.

I have an unlocked bold from rogers. Device is working as a phone but data services are not. i tried EVERYTHING and nothing has worked so far. I upgraded the OS, i tried my sim card on a different device, i tried diff sim cards on it, i also took it to a blackberry specialist who was unable to fix it. He also told me he has never failed to fix a bb except for mine and he has no clue what's wrong with it!!

PLEASE guys, any help will do. what else can i do?

is the pin disabled? or the pin is currently registered under a diff acct. You could also click the manage connections>mobile options> Data Services and click on maybe its set on off

Follow the steps in this thread http://forums.crackberry.com/f83/how...54/index5.html with the exception of the T-mobile service books. You will need Etisalat service books. You can use ones from a back-up of your 8310.

I have the 8310 backed up on my PC. but how can i send the service books to the bold?

by using the backup/restore option in desktop manager and restoring your service book backup.

WHAT?!? The title of the thread is " Data services on bold not working". He is trying to get data on his uh...Bold. Why would he need to go to the 83xx forum?
