Seriously, what are the dangers of giving out imei to certain strangers (to unlock phone)? I know they can't get phone blacklisted by declaring stolen, too much hoops to jump thru, too many dead ends without proper id; i know they cant clone and rack up minutes on it for me to pay bc it just doesnt work if parties do not have matching carriers. So what can scammers do with ur imei? I'm worried they can do something with it. So is it safe to give imei to certain people?
