Is there an easy way to create a home page icon that when clicked, it launches the browser to a URL I specify?

On my old iPhone, this is extremely simple to do.

I've done some web search and the only thing that has come up was some third party app that needed to be downloaded (web shortcuts).

Is that really the only way to do it or am I missing some really easy way to create a shortcut to a URL?

Figured I'd ask the experts on the board.

    Thanks

I use an app called LaunchPad by Tafasa. Its half price until the end of august at a bargain of $0.99. You can use it to create icons which when clicked launch any url, email or telephone call that u specify. U can even create custom icons for each! Definately the answer to yr solution. Get it from the crackberry appstore
