At least I think it's a deal...last night I was wandering through Costco and at the Cell Phone booth I saw a poster for the Verizon 9930 for $169.99. Spoke to the young woman in the booth who really didn't know anything about the phone, she didn't know it was a touchscreen and other basics. She told me that it just arrived there a couple of days ago. They had one that I could hold an look at but it was not a working phone so I couldn't play with it.
She also told me that at Costco you have 30 days to return the phone.

i ******* knew this would happen and tried to wait but i caved and got it at verizon...had a new every 2 for 50, so it was 240 total...still to much...wish id waited..but o well i still love my 9930 and i got a good one.

It should be 90 days on the handset... however the service with Verizon will be only 14 days, 30 within the State of California.
Double check with the Costco manager (especially since the sales rep sounds like a newbie) as they have all the details in which third party companies that sell through Costco have to follow guidelines set by them.
letstalk.com, Best Buy and others are out of stock or back ordered. I assume its because the phone is new and very popular. Any guesses how long it take to fill the pipeline again
