The only difference between the Bold 9900 and Bold 9930 is that the first has tri-band HSPA+ and quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, while the latter supports dual-band CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A, dual-band HSPA+, and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks.
There are two different versions with different radio capabilities.

I wouldn't expect someone with over 10k posts to be so ignorant. But yes, different versions of the same device for network purposes. Same software. Same hardware. Same phone, different radios.
Ill tell you the difference. The difference is the 9900 is GSM and the 9930 is CDMA. Thats the difference the 9900 will Run on Rogers and AT&T and 9930 Will run on verizon and t-mobile
