I have searched for a while and haven't seen this a recent thread on this particular problem. I read through many of the older ones but did not find a solution.
I switched from a Storm 9550 to Bold 9650. The issue I'm having is my computer, Windows 7, will not recognize the media card when I connect the phone to the computer via a USB port. The device does appear in Windows Explorer but not the media card. I know the media card is not corrupt because when I put the media card in the Storm and connect it to the computer both the device and media card show up in Windows Explorer.
I do have mass storage enabled and I'm running the latest OS. Any help would be appreciated.
Do you have the latest version of Desktop Manager installed on your computer?
Even though you aren't trying to use DM to view the memory card it contains the drivers for the phone. Maybe you are lacking the os6 drivers for the 9650 since the Storm is running os5.
I could be totally off base but it might be worth a try.
