I was just wondering how everyone else charges their bold? Do you turn off the entire unit completely? Or just keep it charging while its on? I've gotten accustomed to turning off my phone entirely...and as I look at it now, the light on the top keeps flashing red (with a hint of green). Is that normal?

Help?

Oh, and how do you know once its done charging? Approximately how long does it take to fully charge?

I charge mine with a charging pod. I sometimes use wallcharger depending on my mood. The flashing light is normal if you have it turned off. I let my Bold charge over night.

does it usually take overnight? I'm just using a wallcharger and thought I'd give it about 4 hrs to fully charge then turn it back on.. so 4 hrs might not be enough to completely charge? overnight is better?

I just use the wall charger and charge it overnight no matter what. Usually I
get a good day out of it depending how much I'm doing on the phone. If it's
necessary I charge it a bit more while at work.

This is the only way to know. Charge time depends on how low the battery was.

The charging pod for 24.95 is the way to go. The other option is the powerstation which is more but also has a spare battery charger. I have the one for 24.95 and it works great for me.

I only charge mine when I go to bed on my pod + charging pod in bedside mode. I usually go to bed at midnight then wake up at 430am and its fully charged to last the whole day.

Same here. I was beginning to think I was the only one left here on Crackberry that uses the USB wall-charger.

My bold only gets put on the charger when I'm going to bed with is just a wall charger. Other than that me bolds batterys last me all day with heavy use. The only other time is when the battery is sorta low and I'm going to be out all night is when I charger it for like 20 mins maybe and it will last the rest of the night.

I leave mine on the wall charger for about 3-4 hours, I usually charge mine when it reaches the 15-20% point, I can go from that to fully charged (100% and no "lightening bolt") in that amount of time, unless I pull it off early to make a call.

I'm planning on getting the charging pod, as I like the idea of it having its own little "dock"
