Basically my original BlackBerry handset was broken, so I switched the SIM and Micro SD to my Dad's 'old' Bold 9700 (it works perfectly)

I can send messages, call and use the Internet etc on it, but I can't do anything that needs a BlackBerry ID because when I put in my original one (so I get my PIN etc) it asks for the one that my Dad first used on the phone.

How can I get it to accept my original ID?

You have to security wipe the device first, and then you can login with your bbid or sign up for the new one no others wayto change bbid you have to do sec wipe first
