Hi I have a a BB9780 using operating system OS6. I need to change to BES rather than the BIS which came pre-installed. Does anyone know how I change the software on the BB9780 to BES and where I get the software from please? (the reason for this is I run my email and calendar on an MS Hosted exchange server.

AFAIK,
1) BIS - Blackberry Internet Service
2) BES - Blackberry Enterprise Service

To activate BES, you don't need any software changes. You just need your network admin to set the Exchange settings on your blackberry.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what my network admin did for me...

my workplace has a BES server for MS Exchange.
i have a BIS plan and i set up my email account on my BIS account and it works, the only drawback is i don't get the mail instantly, i have a slight delay (like all my other accounts)
maybe you should try it and see if it works.
