My device had "My number: unknown number" at the top of the call log, so i entered the number under Options>Advanced>Sim Options.
Upon doing this I received a message saying "Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network"
Everything was working fine before this anyway - all blackberry services working correctly before and after this message.
Does it mean my service changed in anyway and why did the message come through then - I had already received this message when I set my BB up for the first time.
Nothing for u to worry about, unless ur havin troubles with the phone now, I get that sometimes when I change something, think its just the new information being received by the network.
