CDMA GSM UMTS - Huh?

The 9930 lists CDMA, GSM, and UMTS.
- Does the 9930 have a sim card?
- Can it also be used on a GSM network like at&t and Tmobile?
- And what's UMTS for?

Yes it has a SIM card.
Yes it can be used on AT&T and T-Mobile but you'll only get EDGE.

If you want a 9900, get a Rogers branded because you can actually get 3G with that model.

-Yes it has a SIM card slot (for use with GSM operators or for roaming internationally with Verizon)

-Yes it can be used on AT&T and T-mobile, albeit only on EDGE speeds

-UMTS is the 3G standard for GSM phones....your 9930 will only pick up the 2100Mhz (Europe/Asia) UMTS band
