I would like to visit the Vodafone UK website on my device, but when I do, it takes ages and doesn't even load in the end as my signal is always about 1 bar and GPRS where I live. I use WiFi, but it seems as though my device tries to connect to Vodafone via radio signal. I thought to turn off my radio and leave the WiFi, but it said it wasn't able to connect to it as my radio was off. What's going on?

Try resending the servicebooks or giving the old battery pull. Best thing after those methods fail, is to contact vodaphone and tell them what's going on. Looks like it could be an issue on their end.
