Anyone having problems on their Bold connecting to email settings? I've been trying for the past two days and keep getting the "Your device had a problem connecting to the server" message. Thought it might be a problem with my 9900 but got the same thing with my 9700. Maybe the server is down for the holiday weekend for maintenance?

Yes, me neither, no Email settings access!

I'm with TMobile, I guess it's a carrier problem. But in my opinion, it's one of these problems that should NOT happen.

I've been having the same issue. I thought it was something I was doing wrong. I have tried changing other settings and searching online for hours. I have the bold 9780. When I go to settings and add or manage email, I get an error message saying cannot connect to server.

had this problem last week when taking sim from unit 2 and putting it into unit 3. so is it a rim issue or a carrier issue?

I'm sure you can send the service books if you access your email set-up from your carrier website.

For example, I would go here and login/create login: BlackBerry Internet Service

Had the same problem with me when I switch. I had to access the BIS setup from the Rogers website. https://rogers.blackberry.com/

I don't know how it works for other carriers.

I have the 9900 thru tmobile and haven't been able to access my Email settings from my phone I get the Error: "your device had a problem connecting to the server email settings" [retry] [cancel]

Talked to blackberry support they weren't much help and the guys English was terrible which made him walking me thru steps even harder. Still no fix & he said he would leave my ticket open for 2 days. Maybe it would resolved on its own if it was a server issue.

    This is really annoying.
