My buddy with his new 9700 can't click buttons in his browser or even hit enter to navigate. I couldn't figure it out. Anyone got an idea?

Needs to log into BIS via Email Settings Icon, Click Help, Send Service Books. If this doesn't work, go to Options>Mobile Network>Menu>Update Preferred List, this should reprovision the device. That should get things popping again.

Oh, you might also click Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>Menu>Register Now.

so even if the BBM, email and the browser works but just the mere clicking on buttons in the browser dont, service books are the issue?

he can get into the browser and onto google for example. but clicking "search" or the enter button, doesnt work. thats all. just doesnt seem like a service book issue.

Have you tried to unplug the battery and wait for about 3 minutes before plug it in again? It works for me

Browser bug caused by the lack of RAM usually. It happened to me even when I had 100 MB free so a restart will cure it. It's totally random.

I've had the same issue, was mainly on Java Script sites, I changed browser identity to IE and managed my settings, no issues since.

And a battery pull will fix a browser click issue too.

    Just for redundancy:

I've had the same issue, and a battery pull fixed it (Alt + Right-Caps + Del).
