Cant change Brower from Hotspot to Wap browser on options

big help please!!


i have a blackberry bold 9000 , unlocked on vodaphone UK

i can use browser via the hotspot browser!

but on options i cant change it to utilize the WAP

any suggestions please

will only let me select hotspot browser! in Browser Config

Instead of going to "browser configuration" in browser options go to "general properties" and change the "default browser" to the one you wish to use. Changing the browser in browser configuration does nothing. It must be changed in general properties. You can, however, change the browser identification in browser properties and that does work.

Exactly. Seems to me that you are missing the required service books... especially since the device is unlocked! :eek:

Im having the same problem as this, when i try to change browser, the only setting i get is a hotspot. I bought mines on o2 from a friend, im on a sim only tariff with unlimited data.

Do i need a blackberry plan for this to work or is there a way around it?
