I got a Blackberry Bold 9780 a couple months ago and it was working really good. It's pretty simple, easy to use and it has all the features I want. I take some pictures, so the camera was a nice asset. I started noticing some problems a few weeks ago. It started out where the camera would take a picture, but either the bottom half of the image would be cut off or a different color. I knew it must be a little glitch because right as the picture was loading it was normal but then it would act up. Well now it's at the point where the past 20 pictures I've taken won't show up, and have a black screen with the image can't load picture that comes up. I tried uploading some pictures I took to Facebook and it comes up that the file size isn't compatible or something, and it also said about being corrupted. I know it's not the memory card because it's a 32GB memory card and I'm using about 2GB currently. I've tried rebooting, pulling the battery, everything like that.

I need to know a way to get the camera back to normal. I'm open to any ideas. Thanks!

It might as well be the SD card. Where did you buy it? eBay? Could be a fake 32GB (2GB or even less, looped to show up as a 32GB). This would explain the corruption of files.

Try a battery pull and replace the card. I take it the device came with another SD, ranging from 2-8GB right? If everything works after the boot with a different card, try putting the old card back in, Options > Storage > Menu > Repair SD (don't safe anything).

If after that it still does not work, then consider verifying it's authenticity.

If the camera does not work with a different SD, hope it is a software issue. Give updating the OS a go: How to Install or Upgrade to a New RIM BlackBerry Operating System (OS) with AppLoader.
