Search didn't help me on a call volume issue. Simply put, at max volume my Bold has very low volume. Same with speakerphone on -- although volume is louder on the speaker. Anyone else have / had this problem?

Using 4.6.0.167 OS.

Yep, battery and sim. No difference.

OS upgrade should fix you up. I recommend 216 although I am on a higher build currently... it was a good one!

Didn't really want to upgrade a new Bold, but... I downloaded the "official release" from AT&T and 216. If 216 doesn't go well (or not solve the problem), I'm downgrading and sending the Bold back.

I understand where you're coming from. If this minor tweak doesn't fix the problem I would be the first to insist on a warranty replacement. Good luck

Just completed the upgrade to 216. That went amazingly well.

It seems the phone volume is a "little" louder and the speakerphone is a tad louder as well. Think I'll see how this works out before I send it back. This volume level may be acceptable.

Does the Bold phone volume level ever seem loud to any of you when cranked all the way up?
