I wouldn't do it. I'd keep that upgrade for when the newer devices come out
for Blackberry.

And isn't the Onyx supposed to come out this fall? With its optical trackpad? I thought I read that somewhere here.

Just sell your Bold now and "upgrade" to a new Bold.

Hells yeah... the Onyx will be coming out soonish. IMO wait rather. No more trackball problems. will have the same trackpad as the 8520.

It'll be interesting to see how many regulars here in the Bold forum will become residents of the Onyx (or whatever it will be called) forum after release. I handled one the other day at Best Buy and from what I've been reading, I am leaning toward it.

Woudn't you have to spend 399/499? I can upgrade for an 18 dollar fee as well but I don't get the new customer price (199/299).
