So I got my 8520 about a week ago and I love it.
On eBay there is this new Bold 9000 for sale that I think about getting too.
What would be the advantages over the 8520. In a way the Bold seems to
be old technology already (less ram) but everyone seems to recommend it.
What do you guys think about it?

I dun really think less RAM would be a problem , i have all the apps i need .. about 25 apps and working with no problems , and still have 35 mb free app memory

but the Bold is FAST ! that's what i love about it , when i used the 8900 i didnt like it because it was slow compared to my bold

and ofcourse the Sound of the bold is the best sound i've ever heard

    looks great

    i guess that's all

Previous replies were on the money. The Bold is marketed by RIM as a high end, premium device. The Curve series is targeted to the entry level, lower end price point. Both are great devices but there is no equal for the Bold (at least not until the Bold 2/Onyx is released!).
