Just got the BOLD today - everything is working better than I had hoped for. However, I can't load the mobile version of gmail.
Get error message 503: Service Unavailable - the server is currently unable to handle your request........ I had it on my Curve, did not change my plan except got a better data plan.

    Any ideas???

You can add GMAIL as one of your emails through BIS and you can receive your gmail that way.

This also allows you to send out from your gmail address.

The rest of the gmail functions are not accessible ... like calender.

This is how I get my gmail... and no need for a separate app...

Gmail through BIS still leaves me having to manually clean up deleted items, and doesn't allow for labels etc... Which the app does, but obviously I prefer a native inbox. An integrated calendar would be nice too (I use the calendar sync tool to bring together my work, Remember The Milk and google calendars so that lot on my Bold would be perfect).
