i tried to remove the IT policy on my blackberry unsuccessfully but now it keeps freezing every couple of minutes and i have to reset it each time. ive tried backing up and then wiping the device and removing any trace of the program off my computer. Then restoring with no success. Any ideas?

okay, ive managed to stop it freezing by using JL Cmdr to wipe the device then reuploading the OS. The little red padlock has gone from the firewall settings but im still unable to access BBM and Windows Live Messenger

Silly question, do you have a Blackberry data plan? You need that to get BBM.
