My Bold will sometimes displays white screen after rebooting. i can tell the os is still working because i use jm_cder to take screen shot and it gives me the home screen. i tried pulling the battery but that doesn't fix the problem. i only manage to fix it a countless times by reloading the os or disassembling the unit. but im tired of doing this all the time. there must some explanation why it keeps on happening. i don't think its hardware related because it only happens everytime i reboot my bold. now im scared of rebooting my bold.

if it only happens after you pull the battery, just wait like 5-15 minutes or something

if you turn it off the right way and right back on and its still white then someone else who knows more than i do will help you out lol

bump.. i pulled the battery and wait longer than 15 minutes but the screen stays on white. i took a screenshot with jm_cder and i can tell the os fully loaded, it's just the screen is not showing it.

I'm having a similar problem, and i reloaded the OS and everything and it just stays white, but I can put it into stand-by

I'm pretty sure mine is a hardware problem though because I blacked out my bold and something might be iffy with that....it did work before with my blacked out bold so who knows.
