    So I've been screwing around with my bold and trying to handle the device with no back cover. It makes the device feel a lot thinner in hand and slightly more comfortable for typing. Does any know of a cover for the device that doesn't stick out as much as the oem cover.

    the cover is there for protection ...

    Agreed. Just looking for a slimmer cover to thin the device out a little bit.

    Yet another one if its to big then chance it and go without the door because you aren't going to find a thinner door

    I looked for one too. In the end I could not find a thinner door, lost the oem one, went a few weeks with the battery falling out (with the obligatory 4 minute restart) and ordered a new one on ebay. Stick with the OEM.
