Hi, I hope this is the right thread to post this:
I recently installed AP Mobile again, and it works fine and I like the app, but -- I can't log in on Twitter. Every time I try I get the reply 'Log in failed. Please check your credentials and try again'. The credentials (username, password) are correct though.
Is this a common issue? Does the app not support Twitter login (anymore), or is there something I can do to make this work? I downloaded AP Mobile through BBW. It's version 3.5 it says. ('build version 3.5.2').
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's only to be sure that it doesn't work indeed.

Yes same for me I absolutely cannot get my Twitter to connect or the Geo location but it still more than useable without those two features

Ahw... thank you. Yes the app is very useable, has nice photo galleries too I just found out... It's just that sometimes, I like to share a news (photo) link on Twitter. Then again, there's RSS.

I just realised there's a workaround if you really want to tweet a link from the AP Mobile app: select to share via SMS (which works!), then cut and paste into a tweet. Anyway, FWIW.
I can't get Geo to work either, BTW. Again, thanks for your reply.
How was everyone's whatsap working? Someone in here mentioned that it might not be working but if there's no multiple cases then I doubt that's the case
I am happy to report that Client For Instagram now works again!!!! There was another update for this app sometime in the last 2 weeks when I was unable to use my 9900.

I don't use WhatsApp on anything, but I did see a big social media app splash page on BlackBerry World this morning (when using my Bold). WhatsApp was on the list...
Passport SE: All the snooty prestige of a device with a precious metal in the name at less than half the price!
just something to add to the list : Google Authenticator, its OTA (m.google.com/authenticator) the bad thing is that there is no support for QRcode scan, you put the key manually, or scan with the Smart tags then edit there (copy the key from QR) and paste on the gAuth app.
Would these apps be working on 7.1 in general? Should I move this to tips and tricks like your 9900 without BIS?
Sent from mTalk on Win 10 PC
I'm sure that the apps do work on OS 7.1 in general, and likely on OS 6 as well. I appreciate the offer to move the thread, but I don't think many people look at Tips and Tricks, and I created this thread for the 99xx community. A lot of people with 99xx's tell me that they had no idea about the 9900 without BIS thread, but they probably would have seen it if we sticked it here.
I guess if we stickied it in Tips and Tricks and then stickied a post here linking people to it (and the "without BIS" thread, I'd be happy.

If you need email (hotmail and/or gmail) outside BIS, there is a solution: Picomail
This (j2me) app works mainly on TCP/IP connection, but recently I noticed that can be used over wifi as well (using WiFix of course), I just put as proxy host (of picomail) 69.174.246.62 on the WiFix, now you can check outlook/gmail over TCP/IP + Wifi without BIS!
there are some minus like no integration with phone's contacts :-(

Added links to PicoMail and your tip to post #2. I've also added a few more email/ActiveSync clients.
