If only it were that easy. Some of us, like myself, are stuck under contract with Sprint & can't do squat but wait.

Will do, as soon as the Q has a trackpad, end call button, keyboard shortcuts and charging points to use a charging dock, i.e. NEVER !!!!
I also received th update.
Be open minded. I thought the same way.
I originally didn't want to go near the Z10, but I got a good deal on one 2 months ago, and have no regrets.

If you need it just reinstall or wipe and reinstall, its an issue with your device...
So just outta curiosity, what are you going to upgrade to when your 9930 ****s the bed? No modern day smartphone OS offers a physical end call button, trackpad, or charge points....

There are folks out there still using 9000 as their daily driver and new 9900 is still available so I will be fine for some years yet.
Bold does everything I want and does it how I want it to so not planning to upgrade.
End call button =Play Button Held Down
Keyboard shortcuts there
Charging dock coming

Do you guys apply this update with the Berrylicio.us hybrid? Should I?
No Verizon BlackBerry Torch 9850 update. Usually updates the same time or around the same time as the BlackBerry Bold 9930. This sucks

This is exactly my thinking. I have had nothing but problems with devices that have touch-screen-only input. I've had a PlayBook for over a year and while it is clearly a good device, the lack of options and settings that define BlackBerry are missing. I can set my Bold to operate within 95% of my parameters. The PlayBook isn't even close. I realise BB10 has advanced beyond the PlayBook, but from what reviews I've read and the little I've used one in-store, BlackBerry has made a change for the worse. I don't care what the competition is doing, and I am saddened that physical buttons have seemingly died because people accept touch as the only method of input. I am not asking BlackBerry to die just to support Luddites like myself, so I'm going use my 9930 until it dies and can't be replaced or something of equal user-intuitiveness and customiseability goes on sale.
Getting back on topic; the only change I have seen so far is the addition of "ok" and "cancel" buttons on the alarm pop up window in the clock app. Everything seems to be running smoothly, but I haven't had time to see if battery life has improved over the last official release.
Upgraded from .755 to this abt 6 hrs ago battery life's improved, noticed fancy led colors on sounds and alerts settings, I also noticed audio boost option in media's been removed (not happy bout this), I formerly also couldn't add a new contact on sim memory (it's fixed now), So far so good its looking great!.. No glitches
Danny. Pay that dammed ETF and dump those Turkeys and move on. Then get a free or 1 penny Z10 at Amazon.com or at Costco, etc. You will not regret it for a second. Forget the Q, I never thought I would go full touch after several qwerty BlackBerry phones over many years and now I will never go physical keyboard again. Just bite the bullet and get the Z.
I started my download Thursday night and woke Friday morn to an app 502 error. does this work for the 9930? How to Reload the Operating System on a Nuked or Bricked BlackBerry | CrackBerry.com I am currently rocking my daughter's old 8330 in pink and miss my 9930
502 error is no OS installed.
Just download the .exe from Verizon Website and run app loader and all should be well.
Thanks, i will do this tonight.
I never did last update. I'm currently on VZW 7.1.0 bundle 1737. Any other updates? Battery life may be worth it.
And some of us who live in developing countries where there are no carrier subsidies and ever increasing hardships simply can't do that!
Hopefully a new update comes out for the 9900 and they improve wifi signal performance as I continue hoping for a better tomorrow

When I have time, I'll add download instructions to start of thread too.
