    I have a Rogers bold 9900 and when I first put my sim card in it said Sim not provisioned. I took it out went to a Rogers store and they fixed that issue for me and told it should be good within 10 minutes. But my phone just says Insert Sim Card. I've taken the sim card out and put it back in multiple times and nothing has worked. I have tried different sim cards and it always says Insert Sim Card. Is this a hardware problem? Or is there a way to fix this?

    Im thinking you were given an illiterate blackberry since it can't read.

    Hardware problems can only be solved by getting a replacement. Head back to Rogers and get a new one.

    I had to get a new Rogers SIM card for my 8900 this week - when I first put it in, it said "SIM not provisioned", but after about 30 mins the phone picked up the SIM. But even after it connected to the network, it took another few hours before BB service started working.

    Maybe give it a few hours and see if it starts working before you start running around.
