Buying the 9900 off contract and buying the unlocked iPhone 4S....good thing I've been stuffing the "mad money" canister in my kitchen!!!

I sure hope that details of the alleged AT&T 9900 hardware revision eventually emerge.

Those of us with unlocked Rogers 9900's on AT&T will want to know what we are missing and if we should upgrade to the AT&T 9900 hardware.

I am getting some dropped calls, but it is hard to tell if it is any worse that with any other phone on AT&T. Details of the hardware changes could help me to determine if the AT&T 9900 would be a noticeable improvement over the Rogers 9900 (especially as I travel to other states).

I'm actually not going to get the iPhone tomorrow. There is an unlocked version coming in November. So I'm going to wait to get it unlocked. When I travel abroad I can just pop a local SIM and go. AND I have an upgrade coming.

Things just fell into place beautifully!

I can't agree more with this... CX and I post the information we can and provide information based on historical info on how long past TA it takes before we see the device but at the end of the day its not official until AT&T officially announces the release date...
