Bold 9900 AT&T Release - Sooner than we think?
- I don't mean to be putting my nose into an argument that I'm not a part of and I'm not entirely too technical either, but I'd be hard pressed to see how defective buttons, trackpads etc. could be network related. Choosing to delay the 9900 in order to milk the 9810 is one idea, but the defective buttons are a different league of problems all together.08-29-11 02:15 PMLike 0
- Was at my local ATT store picking up a car charger when i decided to ask the sells rep if he knew anything about the bb 9900 and when it would be released.. He said he had heard of it, but knew very little about the device, he then proceeded to tell me to check out www.crackberry.com for better information regarding the 9900 release... Thought that was pretty funny!bllyrdrgz and YourMobileGuru like this.08-29-11 02:18 PMLike 2
- AT&T has already announced it in their lineup (here). It is coming, just a matter of when.

08-29-11 03:18 PMLike 0 - So I went to a tmobile over the weekend and met a girl I went to high school with. She has worked there for 5 years and is a member of this site. I asked her when she'd have a Bold 9900 and she said the 31. I asked if she had any idea of just how much network I could have with the new unit as I have att. She insisted and called someone she knew, and both of them said I should be able to have hspa+ on the tmobile version unlocked. I know that I'm going to get flamed and be called a troll but wanted to pass on such information. She told me it is because the 3g bands and 4g(h+) are starting to be the same bands as atts. I know that previously the tmobile would only be edge on att, but they both insisted on the bold 9900 and future blackberrys they'd be compatible on both carriers due to tmobiles changes. I'm not trying to be correct about anything, just asking if anyone has heard of knows if this is fact.

- This is pure speculation. But, have you considered the possibility that AT&T may be in the process of negotiating the exclusive rights to sell RIM's first QNX-based BlackBerry in the United States? If so, it would make sense for AT&T to pass on adding "transitional" BlackBerry smartphones to their inventories such as the Bold 9900 and Torch 9860.

oh how nice of you to take us back to 2008.
BlackBerry Bold set to be released on AT&T on October 2nd?08-29-11 07:40 PMLike 0 -
- Haha my bad, it's been a long day. I saw it and got really excited, but obviously this isn't it. I honestly think we'll hear something soon. It's just nuts how they won't even say anything. It'd be nice to even hear a release date, even if it is November. Just frustrating, but patience is a virtue I guess.08-29-11 08:25 PMLike 0

Until it will be released on att the price on Rogers will fall..08-30-11 06:44 AMLike 0 - Had a chance to use one at Verizon today. Super nice, unbelievably light and thin, keyboard is a bit bigger and a bit less snappy than the 9000. Seemed to me it will be worth the wait.
Is it possible att is holding out to put pressure on RIM into giving them an exclusive on the QNX handset?08-30-11 01:22 PMLike 0
