in the options device is battery saver missing as on mine it seems to have just disappeared.
Is it missing on anybody else's?
It was missing on mine but I shrunk the OS so I ended up having to do another install and I got it back.

Thanks to a little help from dimm0k... I put this on my Verizon 9930. You just install this one, grab the java folder, uninstall, install the Verizon 991, rename java folder, put this one in its place, and push. I did a wipe first.... and it's running like a top!
Just to clarify for newbies, by install, you mean install on the PC and push means load to the phone?

I just wanted that clear because on the OS10 phones you do it all on the phone by just overwriting the radio file using one for your device.

Had it for a few days now and honestly haven't felt much of a difference from .714 (I think?).

I'm on 7.1.0.923. Wondering if it's worth the trouble upgrading to this. Has there been any more news as to where this leak came from? It's a bit strange how little traffic there is on this.

It's because the usual suspects, er, posters, have jumped ship....they have boarded the Z10 and Q10 runaway trains....I am still on .861 but i might load this tonight for lack of a better thing to do.

I finally installed it...while previous OS's were installed in around 20-30 mins, this one took almost an hour. The battery monitor is gone despite doing alt BBDA confirming what other posters have discovered; as usual, BeWeather will not function without a battery pull; and whether the battery lasts longer remains to be seen.

I installed this update yesterday and couldn't be happier. Everything just works better and it fixed a bb maps issue i've had since the last os i upgraded to.
The update also went much smoother than the last upgrade. The whole process only took about an hour. Thanks Crackberry!

I've started to experience the following:

When the battery is still in the green I get the "battery too low for radio use". I can turn it back on and then all of a sudden the battery goes red and the radio turns off again.

I've tried turning the battery saver off for a few days but have experienced the same thing. I can definitively say my battery has not been lasting as long (same usage patterns). I'm going to give it another week before downgrading.

My guess is that you have an old battery and your battery problem is not due to this leaked OS. If your battery is more than a year old, it may be time for you to get another battery. It's cheap, by the way. Try amazon. My battery also began acting up at around 16 or 17 month mark. I've replaced it since and my 9900 is as good as new....it will be 2 yrs old next month....
