    I'm also ditching the bold 9900 soon , I really want a BB10 phone.

But bb is still going to make one more bbos phone this year. Maby with OS 7.2. So I hope that this update will also be available for the bold9900.

But really the old bbos isn't any competion for ios, android and wp. So they need to focus on bb10.

Just a little advice from someone who has lived with both the 9700 and 9900 for a couple of years and you can take it for what it is worth. Before you run to a Q10 take a long look at that forum here and read all the posts about what is missing on that BB 10 OS compared to the OS on the 9900 and how many people continue to struggle with the Q10 device. I gave the Q10 a week and missed the 9900 so much I returned the Q10 and I am back with the 9900. I personally hope that BB continues to support the 9900 device .

I know there are problems with bb10. But the 9900 is also missing great features.

I think I go with a Z10. I really want to use my phone like a multimedia device and with that micro hdmi, the z10 is superb. But my contract ends in oct. so I'm waiting for 10.2 and maby the A10

I just got a new Bold 9900 and love it (even with a 3 year contact). I won't get the Q10 until they fix the BlackBerry Link to sync properly with the desktop Outlook via usb. The 9900 does all that perfectly. The Q10 is not perfect yet! I can't run my business without that to work.

BB 10 is half-baked. I'd rather stay with BB OS7. Go for Bold! (9900)

If I was to get one of these I couldn't just plug in my sim and use web and email right? I'd need to contact my service provider to grant me BIS? (whatever that is)
If I did that, does that then mean that I can't go back to my Q10?

I'm fairly certain that the iPhone 4 will be getting the iOS 7 update. Might not be able to use ALL the features, but if the majority of them are software changes, give to everyone.

iPhone4 does get iOS7 upgrade, though it's missing MOST of the new features...
