I'd love to see more of the web browser on full sites like engadget or crackberry or even cnn. I'd also like to see how good the camera is and the sound quality of the speakers when using the music player. Thanks.
And can you throw in the 9900 rebooting also....TANKS!!!
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
Me too! I'd love to see specifically how the browser handles text when you zoom in. (Especially the Crackberry WAP site!) For example what does it do on double tap to zoom. Then pinch to zoom in even farther. Ability to easily read web pages is the ONLY thing that would ever woo me back to a 3rd try at Android.
But wow, the extra half inch of screen really made a noticable difference. I have a 9650 which appears to be the same size as the qwerty BB you have in the 3rd comparison picture and looks to be a nice improvement. Very promising.
Thanks for the pics. Can't wait to see some browser footage.
A)
Does the phone ship with Visual Voicemail? Not the dumbed down iphone type...
...But the full blown version that you can forward as an audio attachment?
If it does not have an icon for VVM do you know if you can record a VM ( on speaker-phone ) with the devices voice note recorder THEN send that recording off as an audio attachment in an email?
B)
Does it support actual "multi-tasking" such as being on a call and opening the browser while on that call?
C)
Have you noticed ANY websites you can interact with that you could NOT on previous RIM models?
We appreciate your being the tip of the spear more than you know!
My fear with OS7 and the upgraded hardware of this device is that aside from being much faster, having a touch screen and better camera it's just a slightly bigger, faster 9650. I.E. you can't do anything different browser related OR multi-tasking related.
Pictures looks sleek, been reading feedback and phone seems amazing. I'm debating between this and the 9850. I'm on Sprint and both seem amazing. Not sure which direction I'll go.
I want it. I wonder will their be a big problem with apps being compatible. Can you download any apps in app store like pandora or something from the current operating system.
Do you think the screen size is suitable enough for web browsing or can the 2.8 feel cramped as opposed to the larger 3.7? I ask because I'm having a very difficult time deciding between the 9850 and 9930.
Yes- the screen size does feel a bit cramped compared to Torch and iPhone 4. I have good eyes but still need to look hard at times.
