    Hi Guys

I used to have a Curve years ago. I now have Z10 and Q10 and recently bought a used Bold 9900 to try out. The phone I have bought is used and doesn't seem to want to work properly.

The home screen says tigo which seems to be a carrier somewhere. I am in New Zealand, the Bold 9900 is a supported device from Vodafone here so that was my 1st firmware upgrade.

I have nuked it a number of times with the latest Firmware I can find. Also wiped a number of ways BBSWA etc.

The issue is that on the email setup page it simply asks for the enterprise email and activation password. I cant seem to get past this.

I dont have any data turned on at the carrier but as I can get mobile data on the web browser I assume this isnt needed for pop or IMAP email?

I use zoho CRM and sync off Gmail calandar, and contacts

Can anybody tell me if this is possible or possibly this phone is no good?????

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Hi, I am too in Christchurch, like you. Vodafone offers BIS free with any on account connection. You need to advise them that you need this enabled on your account. Let me know how you get on.

The phone seams having been an enterprise phone and the e-mail section managed by an administrator... some way to shortcut that?

Not on your end. Only the carrier can make changes to the coding of your account so it will change from enterprise activation to personal email. I know this because I just had it done tonight for a friend's 9900.
