And drain rate it 10% / hour. Damn too high, how do I get it down?

Just do a few resets, I had this too. Running fine now since several weeks.

No actually mine is way better now. After many restarts. Down to 2-3% and with my usage, I find it acceptable. xD

well it has been a week with the new update and life with my new BB 9790 has never been better.

the update is running very well. i have several programs (Isilo, GDos, barcode scanner) just to mention a few and everything runs very well.

battery life has improved as well, i am some times getting almost a whole day of emails, text internet searches before i have to connect to charge.

i have to tell you this phone gets worked as it is also my business phone.

don't know about the rest of you but for the ones that are not getting the results desired, i suggest looking through the other threads. they helped me better understand and also things i can do to tweak or not tweak and it has worked so far.

one of the best features of this release is that the back button also closes the application. Correct me if Im wrong but in the previous versions it only brought you back to the main screen, this new feature will definately save battery life.

OK, you're wrong
There is no difference with the Escape key in this OS. It all depends on the app... some close with the Escape key, and others via the Menu.

i have tried 596 it is better bit about 2 hour. this is the big problem of this phones. nothing changed same problems with 523.
