Why do I have the feeling that many here are for the 9650, may be because many of you has never used a 9700. or maybe you don't like the idea that you already picked up the 9650 and do not want to say that did the wrong choice.

I used the 9700 with T-Mobile, It is been a superior experience to carry a smart phone in the weight of a regular phone. The battery life is amazing.
Other than that it is the only blackberry that can run on 3G network GSM in North America.

I personally switched to the 9650 because I changed my service to Sprint and it is currently the best Blackberry that Sprints carry.
Yes, it is fast. OS6 ready and has more room for more applications, at the same time it is little bit heavy. and the battery life is ridiculous.

After the beginning app loading and setting up my battery lasts almost 2 days with moderate/heavy use that's sooo horribly ridiculous. Their too similar to compare its why they have the same name, and running 3g in north america is pointless Verizon's 3g coverage is exponentially larger then all the other gsm carriers so its pointless.

9650>9700 simply for the fact that it's not on AT&T!

I wouldn't be so sure that the 9650 will be OS 6 ready. I think RIM has made other statements and then it turned out not to be the case.

Its all about preference, in my opinion coming from the tour, then to the bold 9700, back to the bold 9650. I feel that the bold 9700, design wise is better. I Just wish the 9700 had the specs of the 9650 then it would be my perfect bb for this yr

Is the 9650 going to have os.6 ??? Because rim been pushing the issue about this device before it came out....
All the memory and the ability to operate the new software .... I'm still happy about the device even if it doesn't get to have os 6 ...

Just depends what nertwork you want, I can't imagine the specs are so different it would be a deciding factor hehe.

    Coming from a 9000 to 9700 to 9650 user, I'd say defintely the 9700, unless 9650 can run the OS6 while 9700 can't.

The build quality and materials is very much superior on the 9700, speaker quality as well. Form factor feels better on the 9700 too.

The 9650 feels a tad slower, which is surprising as I expected it's massive RAM to boost the performance instead. Can't find a use for it's OpenGL function

Most importantly, battery life sucks on the 9650

More memory doesn't improve performance unless you were on the verge of running out of memory in the first place.

I do agree the 9700 is a better built device, im glad you mentioned the speaker quality as well because I put a few friends on speaker phone and they couldnt tell the difference if they were on speaker or not. overall its a better device in my eyes.

I don't understand when people say form factor? Is it the fact that u can be online and be on the phone at the same time ?
The 9650 can do that if ur on wifi.. I have a question...... can someone confirm what's the processing speed on the 9650 because some people say its the same as the 9700 some people say its like the storm 2 ???
