    Hello to everyone,Am a little confused on this,can some please explain to me whats the difference between these two phones.
    At present I have a Bold 9000, which I love dearly.However, I want to upgrade soon,I just want to know what am getting into.

    blackberry.com shows the differences when you compare them, essentially 9650 has more memory and is larger and uses different phone bands than 9700

    9700 = GSM, 3G
    9650 = CDMA, (GSM supported)

    If you have a 9000 right now, you're going to want the 9700.

    OK dLo GSR dLo GSR , that's really what i wanted to know- am able to use the 9650 on my gsm network ? like I do with my 9000.
    I like the 9700, however i stuck with my 9000 mainly due to its size, the 9700 is just a bit too small for my hands lol.

    9700 has a faster processor.

    9650 has double the memory that of the 9700.

    Also:
    9700 better battery
    9700 simultaneous voice and data ( with the 9650 you need to be on wifi )
    9650 more memory.
    Both phones are so closely matched that choosing the better carrier in your area would make more of a difference IMO

    9700 also has a better CPU but I believe the 9650 with the extra "RAM" may make up for it. Also the CPUs are comparable.
