I use my phone as my alarm clock to get up in the morning and it was working fine when I went to bed but the alarm started going as planned but the screen wasn't on and I couldn't press any buttons to stop it so I just pulled the battery out and put it back in.

Now my phone won't turn on. When I do a battery pull the red LED still comes then shuts off as usual but the phone won't boot. It also just recently began vibrating like I was getting a text and I called it and it does ring but none of the buttons disconnect or accept the call. Any help?

    1) Follow these directions

BlackBerry 101: How to Reload the Operating System on a Nuked BlackBerry | CrackBerry.com

If this does not work then

    2) Remove the battery for a FULL 24 HOURS. When you re-install the battery the phone will re-set.

+1 on the second option. It may sound bit odd, but it works...

Hey I dont know if this is the same problem, but:

I removed the battery and put it back, i get the red light,
and when the light turns off and i press the power button, It shows the blackberry loading screen (5.0) for about 2-3 seconds and goes away.

    Is this wrong?
